China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest

China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest is the only competition platform under the China-Israel joint committee on innovation cooperation mechanism, hosted by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center, Israel Innovation Authority and the other institutions in these two countries. Since the first China Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest was successfully held in 2017, the competition has attracted approximately 400 start-ups from Israel.

The Israeli participating companies will be divided into Startups Group (Startups) and Large Enterprise Challenge Group (Challenge), correspondingly for the Israeli startups at an earlier stage and Israeli companies with relatively mature technologies to meet the technology and industrialization demands of the large enterprises. There will be around 400 companies to participate, which include 3 industries--Life Sciences, Smart Technology, Agriculture and Ecology. As the preferred platform for Israeli innovative enterprises to connect to the Chinese market, the senior executives of large Chinese enterprises and high-level executives of venture capitals will be the judges of the competition, aim to sort out and integrate the methods and channels for Israeli innovative enterprises to enter the Chinese market and build a win-win situation.
About INNOWEEK
What is INNOWEEK?
The 1st INNOWEEK was held in Tel Aviv and Shanghai in September and December 2019 respectively. INNOWEEK aims at enhancing technology communication and innovation cooperation between the government, corporations, universities and research institutes in both countries, thus creating a bilateral platform for innovative cooperative institutes to demonstrate their achievements and display their experiences. A large amount of Chinese enterprises, particularly those with abundant experiences or intention of carrying out collaboration with Israeli companies, hi-tech parks, universities and scientific research institutions, attended the exhibition and presented their cooperation achievements. Meanwhile, business executives from exhibiting companies participated in B2B meetings with their Israeli counterparts in order to promote negotiation and cooperation on both sides.
